Farmers Pond

This was taking on Thanksgiving Day some years ago, obviously before some weather was moving in to the area. I had been looking for a photo at this pond for months previous, and was just stopping by to see if it had enough water in it for a photo. No sooner than had we arrived than the sun came out and lit the foreground, and with that glorious stormy dark gray background. I couldn't set up quick enough.

Devotees of eastern Sierra photography will know where this is. The rest will have to find it as did I, however I like others had to find it without benefit of a name. At the time I did not know it was such a popular photography spot; I had only seen one photo of Galen Rowell's in a guide to Bishop, and wanted to know where it was.
